Kazen has a permanent and lull bypassing one-way aggro link with Emkel Kabae, a nearby piddly hitting but ice comet casting level 55 wizard . You can't kill Kazen without Emkel aggroing but you can, however, kill Emkel Kabae without aggroing Kazen. He might aggro if you train Emkel right on top of him, but they're far enough away that you'd really have to try to mess it up. Spawns a bone golem nearby upon death. ;Strategy Bring at least one 60 Warrior to tank Kazen and a dedicated Cleric to Complete Heal them. Kazen hits '''hard''' (1400 max! ouch!) so defensive discipline is recommended. Bring at least a few lv60 dps. An Enchanter can assist with haste buffs & by charming Misty Tekchita for additional dps. Wizard lures land on Kazen. Before engaging Kazen, kill Emkel Kabae nearby. He is a level 55 Wizard with a permanent one-way aggro link to Kazen. If you don't you'll be forced to fight both at once. He has significantly less health than Kazen, doesn't hit nearly as hard, and will go down quickly. Now onto Kazen. Kazen casts high level Necromancer spells, but having a few of those land will hurt far less than if he were punching you. Don't bother sieving. Have your Warrior tank engage with defensive discipline and have your Cleric Complete Heal them as necessary. Defensive disc will last the entire fight with decent dps, and so long as your Cleric is able to land CH in a timely fashion Kazen will go down without issue. He flees at 20% which makes things even easier. Immediately after he dies a bone golem will spawn on his corpse; have your tank pick it up. The next three fights are simple tank'n'spanks. ;"What if I don't want to kill Kazen?" If doing the quest the "intended" way, you'll eventually need to farm Grand Herbalist Mak`ha (post revamp), or Royal Sarnak Herbalist (pre revamp) for a Manisi Herb.
